Stornoway lifeboat has towed a disabled fishing boat to safety.
The MFV Kingfisher with five people on board suffered engine problems and was drifting near North Rona.
Her skipper radioed for assistance around 3.05pm on Thursday.
After reaching the scene, Stornoway lifeboat got a line aboard the stricken vessel.
The Kingfisher was towed to Kinlochbervie, the nearest safe harbour.
