Teenagers flown to hospital after road accident 15/1/14
Two teenagers were flown to hospital following a road accident on Lewis on Wednesday
evening.
The casualties - aged 15 and 16 years - received slight injuries during the incident
at Timsgarry in Uig on the west coast of the island before 5pm.
The emergency services attended the accident and the pair - who live in Uig - received
medical attention at the scene.
Stornoway Coastguard helicopter airlifted them to hospital in Stornoway.
A police spokesman said the accident involved one vehicle and two female pedestrians.
