Lewis Pipe Band are European piping champions after wining at a prestigious competition.
Twenty pipers and drummers from the island pipeband competed at the European Championships in Forres.
Up against nine rivals, the Lewis Pipe Band clinched the top prize in the grade 3A event , the first time the band competed at this level.
A spokesperson said: "Winning the Europeans at our first attempt in grade 3A is a phenomenal achievement.
"We are honoured and humbled to have gained such success. Onwards to the World Pipe Band Championships in August."
