Fire crews have been called out to their second incident in two days in the Leverburgh community shop.

A refrigerated unit in An Clachan store caught fire, believed to be caused by an electrical fault.

The fire service said the chiller unit was destroyed.

They said Leverburgh and Tarbert crews used a hose jet and a foam extinguisher to tackle the fire.

There was also a very minor electrical fire at the premises on Tuesday.

The incidents have not affected trade and shop is fully open for business.
