Tonight's Scottish Reformation Society Lecture due to have been held in Stornoway has been cancelled.
The adverse weather conditions prevented the speaker, Rev John Forbes of Lairg, from travelling to the island.
The local branch of the Reformation Society apologise for any inconvenience caused.
