Large scale search for missing person

Emergency services have been involved in a large-scale search operation in Stornoway
to find a missing person.
A large number of personnel were mobilised on Thursday evening after the alarm was
raised amid concerns for the person’s welfare.
Stornoway search helicopter scoured the Lews Castle Grounds and adjacent areas.
Stornoway lifeboat launched and searched around the harbour coastline.
Coastguard personnel were out on foot for a land-based search.
The individual was later found and the search was stood down.
