Iain Macdonald's defence of the last Labour Government is totally laughable and as a quick reminder for Iain, the mucky dealings at LIBOR started in 2006/07 and who was in power, yes the Labour Party.

These artificially high bank rates robbed people blind and kept the price of fuel much higher than it should have been so its plain to see why the Gordon Brown didn’t want to know about any sort of fuel price reduction for the islands.
Blair,Brown, Darling and Balls are detested right across the class ridden societies of England and are known as the people who nearly bankrupted Britain, Iain Macdonald must be the only man around who thinks they did a good job.
The Labour Party has lost its way big time and the same negative bitter attitude displayed in his letter is also prevalent within the ranks of the Scottish Labour Party who couldn’t care less about Scotland and its problems as long as they can keep the red flag flying and opposes anything and everything the Scottish Government does.
Everyone knows who the dummies and the nodding donkies are Iain, they've all got a red rosette on their lapel and can’t wait to get their snout into the public trough. Ask Tom McCabe and Gordon Matheson.
