Sir,

The desperation within the Labour Party has reached fever pitch. The letters from their correspondents have gone from fictional to fantasy and are now fairy tales.

How can anyone promote the idea that the Labour Party are anti-austerity when they campaigned for austerity, then voted for it and then justified why we need it. To make matters worse, they now want working people who are dependent upon food banks to be taxed £300 again for services they have already paid for.

Whilst wanting to drive the working people into poverty they supported bankers' bonuses, raided pension funds, ignored off shore tax avoidance schemes, left councils with the PFI legacy and allowed large corporate businesses avoid paying proper taxes. All done during their time in government. Not one fair or socialist policy during 13 years in power.

The best complaint they can raise against the Scottish Government, is to moan about a commercial airline which operates totally independent of the Scottish Government.

They even suggest giving the commercial airline free planes. How could anyone trust them again, their letters tell us they are still out of touch with reality and the electorate.
