Sir,
It is very reprehensible that D S Murray attempts to twist and deflect from the fact that he has again scorned a man for being at his father's funeral, despite being corrected on a number of occasions. Surely he should learn some decorum and have some respect.
D S Murray starts his letter with his continued obsession with Angus Brendan MacNeil and finishes off by questioning his tenacity and even childishly calls him a superhero.
When we overcome the crass personal insensitivity of Labour writers, and actually look at the debate from 2010, in essence, D S Murray and Labour are asking the SNP why they did not stop Labour from constantly increasing fuel prices when Labour were in power.
The solution to that is surely to have large number of SNP MPs. Or perhaps Labour,
rather than looking for a strong SNP to keep them on the straight and narrow, should
either improve their policies or simply give up.
Letter: Labour’s “failing political campaign”
17 April 2015
Across Scotland according to many serious commentators Labour simply appeared to
have done just that -
Also, bizarrely, D S Murray’s issue is not from this last parliament but the one
before. This disjointed approach is symptomatic of a failing political campaign with
Labour weakening on all fronts -
Many people say they are just frankly embarrassed by the conduct of D S Murray and his cohorts, and furthermore, for reasons of decency in island politics, will simply not be voting Labour.
I hope like many others in the islands and across Scotland will make the positive
choice, and vote SNP.
