Sir,

In response to the letter, “There is no Labour,” I would like to draw the writer’s attention to an important point. It seems quite fashionable to be mentioning Kier Hardie at this election, but we must remember that this man was first and foremost a Christian. It was the Bible that guided his politics and his actions. As the writer correctly highlights the Labour party has moved far away from where it started.

However, I believe Kier Hardie would view the Scottish Christian Party as the best option for his vote should he be around today. I would suggest that it is wishful thinking to assert that the SNP lean very much in the direction of the path chartered by Kier Hardie and would humbly suggest, that the writer read the letter “Reasons to vote Christian Party.”

I was very encouraged to see that Mr DJ Morrison recently embraced my suggestion, to his profit, and hope that many more will follow his example.
