Car giant Jaguar has been on a tennis-themed road trip to Harris with former British number one tennis champ Tim Henman to show off its new estate vehicle, the XF Sportbrake.

The prototype tested out local roads on a drive to the Bunavoneadar tennis court - the most remote in the UK - as part of the car’s launch campaign in partnership with the Wimbledon Tennis championship.

The model will be revealed in full at Wimbledon on June 14th by tennis star Andy Murray who queried if the North Harris facility actually existed.

Jaguar despatched Henman to find out and his journey was filmed on the island last month. The promo video features the spectacular landscape of Harris.

Tim Henman said: “The road to the court was the perfect place to try out the new XF Sportbrake as it mixes amazing scenery with some challenging corners.

Prices for the new Sportbrake will range between £35,000 to £55,000 when it reaches showrooms late this year.
