
The French trawler Jack Abry grounded off Goat Island in Stornoway harbour on Friday afternoon.
The fishing vessel which has a six metre draft hit the bottom around low tide as she was going astern.
She soon floated off and did not require the assistance of Stornoway lifeboat which launched to the scene.
After she departed, the Jack Abry headed for Brest in France where she is due to arrive early on Monday morning.
