Marion MacNeil, who runs the Heathbank hotel on Barra has won the Highlands and Islands Thistle Hospitality Hero Award.
The trophy was presented to Marion at a ceremony in the Drumossie hotel in Inverness.
The esteemed awards, now in their 17th year, highlights excellence throughout the hospitality industry within the Highlands and Islands.
The judging panel agreed: “Marion shows an extraordinary level of customer care, and an amazing ability to home in very closely to her guests' needs, with astonishing empathy, to a level the judges had not seen before.
“As well as this dedication to her customers, Marion's commitment to the local community to make Barra more attractive and a better place to live – with Heathbank at the centre of it – is infectious.”
They added: “Marion goes over and above and exceeds in her efforts and has a strong will to bring young people into the hospitality sector.
“An absolute pleasure and well deserving recognition of her drive for ensuring high quality hospitality within the Outer Hebrides.”
