A Lewis man who committed a catalogue of offences has been sentenced to a year in prison.
Douglas Murray of Marybank appeared in front of Sheriff David Sutherland at Stornoway Sheriff Court for sentencing this week.
The 38-year-old previously pleaded guilty to a number of charges including two incidents of police assault and two cases of threatening behaviour.
It was also alleged he breached bail on two occasions.
He admitted a charge of careless driving and one of driving without insurance.
Murray also received a 16 month driving ban for failing to provide a specimen without reasonable excuse, required to determine whether he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
