An islander has been remanded in custody following an appearance on a breach of the peace charge at Stornoway Sheriff Court.
The man was arrested over an accusation he caused a disturbance outside the same court building on Friday.
He is also alleged to have breach bail.
The man spent the weekend in the cells in Stornoway police station.
In court on Monday, he pleaded not guilty to the allegations. He was remanded to await a further court appearance.
