Newly appointed Islands Minister has meet with Angus Campbell, leader of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.
Speaking after his visit Mr Mackay said:
“The Scottish Government’s proposals to empower all of Scotland’s island communities included a commitment to appoint an Islands Minister and I am keen to engage with all the islands leaders individually as well as with the Our Islands Our Future campaign.
