Alister Macaulay of 6 Druim nan Curracag, Callanish, Lewis, has been jailed for four months for threatening behaviour.

Macaulay admitted persistently shouting and banging on doors and windows at an address in the neighbouring village of Breasclete.

The offence occurred in March.

At Stornoway Sheriff Court, sheriff David Sutherland said he would have imposed a six months’ sentence but for Macaulay’s early plea.
