Isla Ovenstone of Stornoway was awarded the Lawrence MacDuff Cup at the Royal National Mòd in Oban.

The 13-year-old won first prize in the Clàrsach Intermediate 2 competition.

Isla performs with the Fèis Ceilidh Group, where she sings and plays the càrsach. The group recently performed at the Hebridean Celtic Festival.
