Sir,
So the letter writer on the 29th July thinks that the cost of an airline ticket is of more importance than the cost to the families of those service personnel who lost loved ones in Iraq? Of the cost to the thousands traumatised or maimed, and of the suffering and loss to the many hundreds of thousands of Iraqis?
All caused by one man misleading (that’s a parliamentarian euphemism for lying) to Parliament and the people of the UK and entering into an illegal war.
Whilst I would be more than happy to see air fares reduced I do not agree that it should be subordinate to bringing those responsible for the horror that occurred, and has since followed, to answer for their actions in a court of law.
