Internet gambling fraud         26/10/14

Islander Alister Macaulay pleaded guilty to internet fraud when his case was called at Stornoway Sheriff Court.

The 31-year-old used someone else’s debit card without permission to ran up a gambling bill of nearly £729 on a poker website.

Macaulay of Druim nan Currag, Callanish, Lewis, is due to be sentenced at a later date.
