Fisherman injures hand on trawler 28/3/14
Barra lifeboat went to the aid of a French fisherman who crushed his fingers on a
trawler at sea.
The 32-metre-long Roselend headed for Castlebay after the crewman injured his hand.
The lifeboat launched after 10pm on Wednesday night and met the trawler in sheltered
waters.
The injured fisherman was landed at the pier in Castlebay where he was met by an
ambulance.
