Icy conditions will continue to affect the Western Isles on Friday.
A cold northerly airflow is bringing wintry conditions to islands today.
The Met Office said its yellow "be aware" alert was in force for parts of the islands up to noon.
The Met Office said icy stretches will be an additional hazard on untreated surfaces especially where showers fall as sleet.
There is the risk of some difficult driving conditions.
