Cold winds sweeping down from the north continues to bring chilly weather.

The Met Office has issued a warning of ice for tonight over the Western Isles and northern Scotland.

Sheltered inland areas are most prone whilst coastal areas exposed to the winds are less likely to be affected.

Around two centimetres of snow may accumulate above about 200m with temporary deposits at lower levels, mainly late in the night.
