Hydro engineers repair network in gale 22/10/14
Hydro engineers worked in gale force winds to replace electricity cables downed by strong gusts.
Over 400 homes in Lewis and Harris lost power for a period on Tuesday.
Around 300 properties were affected in Harris when a problem occurred at Scott Road in Tarbert in the morning.
Houses on the network branching off in different directions to Scalpay, to Rhenigidale and around the Caw were hit.
Later, about 112 properties in Carloway were without a supply.
