The council election hustings event due to take place in Pairc tonight has been cancelled due to a death in the district.
Meanwhile, at least three candidates are expected to attend a hustings in the Point ward this evening. The event starts at 7.30pm in Tiumpanhead Community Centre in Aird. Candidates, Norman Macdonald, John Murdo Macmillan and Tony Robson, are confirmed to participate.
