Housebreaking offence 2/2/12
A Lewis resident broke into a Stornoway flat and stole a TV set and a digibox, Stornoway Sheriff Court was told.
Jenny Bolland, 52, of 7 Lios na Glib, Carloway, previously pleaded guilty to the housebreaking charge.
On an earlier occasion the court heard she knew the house was vacant and the outgoing tenant had left their TV behind.
She was ordered to undertake 120 hours of unpaid work and placed two year’s supervision under a community payback order.
