An islander has been jailed after he caused a disturbance within the Stornoway hospital.

Paul Simmonds of Cearn Tharnasaidh, Stornoway, admitted using threatening or abusive behaviour.

Stornoway Sheriff Court heard the 42-year-old acted aggressively and was shouting and searing on 24th January.

Sheriff David Sutherland imprisoned him for six months.
