Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) has a new acting chief executive.
Charlotte Wright's appointment follows Alex Paterson’s move to Historic Environment Scotland.
Ms Wright has been with HIE since 1997 and held a number of roles in Lochaber before being appointed as the agency’s regional director for Highland in 2008. Since 2010, she has held the position of director of business and sector development, based in Fort William and Inverness.
