This summer’s Hebridean Triathlon is now open for entries.
The event, scheduled for the end of July, takes place on the west coast of Lewis.
Heb Tri challenges people to take part in standard triathlon distances of 1.5km swim, 40km cycle and a 10km run.
The event is based at Shawbost with the swimming in Loch a' Bhaile.
The bike section sets off to the Callanish Stones and back.
Runners head to North Bragar on the main road and return through the village for 10k.
Entrants can enter on the website www.hebtri.co.uk as an individual or as a team of two.
