A Scots band undertook high speed race across the sea to get to the Hebridean Celtic Festival in time.
Fast-
The group had just finished a Canadian tour but were forced to delay their return via America to Scotland.
They had to stay in the States overnight and were instructed that, under tougher security rules, they needed a visa waiver before getting through.
All onward connections were lost and the island gig looked doomed until they hit on the idea of hiring a fast RIB boat to get to Stornoway.
Eventually landing in Edinburgh on Saturday evening it was a mad rush by car to board the RIB at Ullapool which sped at 50 knots across the Minch.
Running late after the bumpy, wet ride, the foot stomping group scrambled on stage to a waiting crowd at the last performance on the second stage at the event.
