Health and Safety Partner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Partner to be the professional health and safety lead to operational and senior managers in Freshwater, Marine and Processing functions within our business. The role will provide health and safety support, coaching and advice to Operational and Senior Managers; support deployment of the health and safety plan and the development of a safe and healthy working culture; and, ensure compliance with statutory, legislative and business requirements.
Applicants must have as a minimum a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent) and be willing to work towards a Level 4/5 Occupational Health & Safety qualification, experience in delivering risk management, inspection, audit, investigation and training across multiple sites. They must have strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to effectively partner and act as a trusted professional advisor to front line and senior operational stakeholders. The successful candidate must also be computer literate with written skills for reporting.
