HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER

North Region, Stornoway Office

This exciting new role within our Health and Safety team involves promoting the positive safety culture within our company, ensuring that our policies, procedures and safe working practices are followed. This will include carrying out regular H&S site audits and inspections, providing on-site guidance, supporting local managers, preparing and conducting training/#briefings with our employees. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH qualification (or be studying towards), have relevant experience in a Health and Safety environment, ideally have knowledge of the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) Regulations. Excellent organisational, IT and communication skills are key to this role, and a current driving licence is essential as there will be travel throughout the North Region.
