The harvest team ensures the efficient supply of fish to the Marybank Plant each morning in time for processing.  The team will be based at our onshore harvest station at Arnish for the next 2 years.  To meet increased demand, we require:

Applicants must be physically fit to fulfil the duties of the role, hardworking and flexible in their attitude. As well as having a sound understanding of the importance of food hygiene and animal welfare, applicants must be good timekeepers and able to make a positive contribution to the team.  

 

Applicants should be aware that due to the nature of the business, flexibility is essential and that some extended shifts and weekend work may be required to meet production targets.

 

Normal working hours can vary to meet the harvest plan requirements although normal start times are currently from 3am, Monday - Friday mornings, with a minimum of 30 core hours per week guaranteed. In addition to the core hours, staff are expected to be available up to 40 hours per week and work through until the harvest programme is complete.

 

In addition to an hourly rate of £8.00, Unsocial Hours Payment of £15 per night is payable for hours worked between 10pm and 6am.
