A fishing boat with three crew onboard ran aground on rocks after breaking down at sea.
The vessel's lost engine power and its anchor cable also parted.
The 10m catamaran had grounded on Spuir Reef, south west of Pabbay island, in the Sound of Harris.
Leverburgh lifeboat towed the casualty off the reef on the rising tide on Monday.
The lifeboat pulled the boat to Leverburgh pier.
