CASUAL GROUND SECURITY OPERATIVES
TEMPORARY FOR 6 MONTHS
BENBECULA AIRPORT
£8.70 per hour
As a Ground Security Operative you’ll be involved in the searching of passengers, their baggage and maintaining security at Benbecula airport.
You’ll have previous experience within a customer service environment and an ability to work with integrity and confidentiality. You’ll be trained to conduct body searches as well as searches of hold and cabin baggage. You’ll patrol internal and external areas as directed therefore an element of outdoor working is applicable to this position. You’ll have a flexible approach to working patterns which includes weekends and unsocial hours. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will ensure you effectively communicate with passengers and integrate successfully into the current security team.
You’ll have a flexible approach to working patterns as you’ll work on a shift basis which includes regular weekends and unsocial hours. As the role involves conducting patrols of both internal and external airport areas, you will sometimes be working outdoors.
