Voters in the Great Bernera have until 4pm on Thursday to return postal ballot slips for the buyout vote.
Completed ballot packs handed in to the council offices in Stornoway by the deadline will be included in the count.
The count is a public event which takes place in Bernera Community Centre 7.30pm on Thursday.
Bernera has been inherited by the family of Count Robin de la Lanne-
They want to sell but has offered locals first refusal on purchasing the island.
