Grass fires

Western Isles fire crews were called out to two separate grass fires yesterday.

Two water jets were used to extinguish a 200 square metre area of fire off the main road in Harris.

At lunchtime, one fire-engine from Stornoway tackle a fire near trees in Lower Bayble, Point.
