A southwesterly force eight gale is expected to affect the Hebrides on Sunday.
The Met Office has issued a gale warning highlighting strong winds, rain and rough seas.
Winds speeds are due to pick up from Saturday evening.
40 to 50 mph gusts will hit from early Sunday morning and are expected to last over a further 24 hours.
Monday will see blustery conditions and wintry showers.
