A gale warning has been issued for the Hebrides area.
Gusts of around 50mph are expected in places overnight into Saturday morning.
Winds speeds are due to ease over Saturday but are forecast to strengthen again during Sunday.

The morning sailings of the Lochboisdale to Mallaig ferry has been cancelled on Saturday. The afternoon run is on amber alert.
