Gale alert for Western Isles

A gale is forecast to affect the Western Isles on Sunday.

Uist and Barra will bear the brunt of the adverse weather which is set to continue into Monday, officially the first day of summer.

Gusts over 50 mph - accompanied by rain and rough seas - are likely in exposed places in the Southern Isles at the peak of the gale.
