Scottish Government backs Gaelic education campaigns 13/10/14
The Scottish Government has awarded an extra £50,000 to Bòrd na Gàidhlig to support
the promotion of Gaelic-

Steady growth has been evident in the numbers of children entering P1 Gaelic medium education: 2011/12 – 406; 2012/13 – 428; 2013/14 – 486; it is expected that the 2014/15 will show numbers surpassing 540.
