The Skye based charity Lucky2BHere - which  provides emergency life support training and defibrillators to local communities - and Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland have joined forces for a project to deliver basic first aid training in the islands and Highlands.

As a result the Heartstart Harris team which runs the initiative in Harris has been renamed Lucky2Bhere (L2BH) Harris.

Local fund raising helps the group install defibrillators locally, which could mean the difference between life and death before emergency services attend an incident.

Pictured above is Calum Mackay from the North Harris Trust presenting a cheque for £1000 to Adam Johnson of L2BH Harris.

Also in the photo is Karen Macrae, sister and organiser of Christopher Macrae’s memorial football match,  presenting a cheque for £1225.25 to Cameron Morrison of L2BH Harris.
