The volunteers of Stornoway’s Save the Children Fund shop are hosting a funding raising event for the Ebola crisis this Saturday.

The Soup and Pudding Lunch is to collect monies to assist the Save the Children’s ‘Ebola Appeal’ – providing aid and assistance to the emergency situation in West Africa.

A Government funded hospital has been built to help those in need, and is being staffed and run by the Save the Children charity.

The event takes place from 12 noon to 2pm on Saturday in the MA MacLeod Memorial Hall (next to Stornoway Free Church), Kenneth Street, Stornoway.
