A woman who tried to pass off forged £50 notes in shops and pubs in Stornoway has appeared in court.

 

Rosie Maclelland of Seaforth Road, Stornoway, pleaded guilty to the charge of counterfeit currency when her case called at Stornoway Sheriff Court.

 

Sheriff David Sutherland ordered her to keep out of trouble for six months.
