Air services for Barra were cancelled on Saturday due to heavy fog.
Both planes were almost fully booked for the height of the summer season but neither scheduled flight departed Glasgow.
Meanwhile, passengers on the incoming lunchtime flight at Stornoway were advised the aircraft may have to return to Glasgow due to low visibility. The plane circled the airfield a number of times before making a successful landing.
