Island plane services between Stornoway and the central belt were disrupted by fog today.
The Met Office said thickened in the late afternoon and into the night after being persistent through the day.
Areas of fog became dense with visibility less than 100 metres in places.

Meanwhile, the second Glasgow flight for Barra returned to the mainland without landing. The outbound service was cancelled.
