Huge quantities of foam were swept inshore as gales battered the Western Isles today.
Strong winds blew the foam over the top of rocks and onto land.
Rough seas whipped up the surf pushed above the shoreline by the direction of the wind.
Last week’s violent storm also resulted in blankets of foam forced up over beaches.
