Flood alert for Western Isles 2/3/14
A coastal flooding alert has been issued for the Western Isles by the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency.
Its warns that the combination of high tides and a small storm surge are expected on Sunday and Monday.
The agency said: “Flooding to low lying ground is possible in exposed coastal locations. Tidal levels are not expected to be as high as those experienced on February 1st.”
High tide at Stornoway is at 7.15pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday
