Sirs,

On Sunday, the Parker Solar Probe rocket was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on a mission to get as close to the Sun as possible. It is then hoped that it will make 24 orbits over seven years without first burning up.

As one of your correspondents wrote that God created 7000 languages (Evolution theory is “all gobbledygook” - 5 June 2018) because of the Tower of Babel incident when people were capable of building a tower that could reach heaven, this throws up a problem.

Since the same correspondent wrote that the Bible cannot err (The Bible is infallible - 6 August 2018) maybe he could inform us if NASA had made a special flight plan to avoid heaven on the way to the Sun or if God has moved heaven since flood times?

Whatever way you look at it the distance to the Sun is many orders of magnitude greater than anything mankind is capable of building so the answer should be illuminating. It is always good to learn something new.
