Sick fisherman airlifted off trawler 10/8/14

A Spanish fisherman suffering from stomach pains was airlifted off a trawler in the Minch on Saturday.

The 38-year-old man was taken to Broadford Hopsital in Skye after being in taken off the Spanish-flagged MV Monte Meixueiro by the Stornoway coastguard helicopter around 8.40am.

There is no word on his condition.
